Tweet Congrats to Sky, LG and particularly the Railway Tavern in Liverpool Street, London for showing the Manchester United V Arsenal match on a 42 inch 3D TV. Will this mean an increase on the number of people visiting pubs? Only if they want to wear 3D specs… although we’ve been informed that the effects were good. Sky TV are hoping this will boost football viewing, but we’re not totally convinced that showing blurred football matches in a pub is a great idea… wouldn’t you just try and drink the picture straight? Now, if we change the game being shown in 3D to something other than a sport designed to be seen at a distance, perhaps we’d get somewhere… Pool maybe? 10 pin bowling with the camera just behind the pins?
