Not possibly the best time to write this as we are both suffering after eating some of the food in the Codrington Arms, this is our run down of the sunday lunch time meal we had, arrive, order drinks lager shandy was topped up with soda water, got that changed, ordered meal, waited a good while - expected for a Sunday lunch time, meal arrives Mushrooms stuffed with non existant stilton and salad and new potatoes covered in oil, husband ordered a mixed grill, first look ok, steak looked like boot leather and what we now think was gammon after cutting into it and moving it around the plate was green, very rare infact not cooked perfumed tasting sausages and waht we think was a lamb chop was just about passable, told the waitress, she said she would talk to the chef, no response, begrudginly paid over £28.00 and got the hell out of there, just about made it home to Essex before really needing to find the nearest public convenience, now still suffering badly, would not recommend this pub to any one, not even my worst enemy.

The Only Pub In Alyth, what can you say good beer, plenty banter. Warning: Do not enter unless you have a sense of humour
