Having been a regular at the CODDRINGTON ARMS, NORTH ROAD YATE for some years, I think people who make reviews about a pub should go to the pub that they are commenting on not on a fantasy pub. ie comments 29 June 08,Sunday 3 Aug 08, and Sunday 24 Sept 08. ABUSIVE landlord or landlady, If they were ever abusive I think you deserve it though I dought it from them. Bad meals on a Sunday Night(7.45pm) the pub does not do food on a Sunday nights. If the barman would have used this type of language to a customer he would have been fired. As to the Sunday lunch its a Carvery not a selective menu. Perhaps this is the type of meal you serve your husband. I suggest when he takes you out he takes you to a proper pub with proper food and service ie THE CODDERRING ARMS, NORTH ROAD YATE.

I think a lot of the bad press is about the Codrington Arms in Codrington, not North Road, Yate. I will say the Codrington Arms Yate is nice a inviting, but I would never go back to the Codrington Arms CODRINGTON. Agressive, druggie, s***hole. Please make sure you are commenting on the right pub, otherwise a decent place will end up loosing customers :)
